This service is intended to supplement — not replace — your existing security alarms and camera systems. Participation in this program does not guarantee the prevention of burglary, vandalism, or other criminal activity. The Albemarle Police Department assumes no greater responsibility for the security or safety of your property than otherwise provided by law.

This service does not establish a caretaker or agency relationship between the APD and the property owner.
