Albemarle Fire Department Responds to Commercial Structure Fire, No Injuries Reported

ALBEMARLE, NC — At approximately 6:30 a.m. on December 17, 2025, the Albemarle Fire Department responded to a reported commercial structure fire in the 200 block of North Depot Street. Upon arrival, responding units observed light smoke emanating from the building.

Fire crews made entry and encountered active fire conditions inside the structure. They worked swiftly to contain and extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.

Units remained on scene for an extended period to ensure full extinguishment. In accordance with protocol, the Albemarle Fire Department Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
