Auria Announces Expansion in Albemarle, Bringing New Jobs and Investment to Stanly County 

Albemarle, NC — [February 19, 2026] — Auria has announced an expansion of its operations in the City of Albemarle, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Stanly County and the region’s growing manufacturing sector. The project will create an additional 13 new jobs with salaries above the county average and will result in at least $9,058,175 in new taxable investment in machinery and equipment over the next eight years.  

As part of the expansion, Auria will add an EcoPunch nonwoven production line, strengthening its manufacturing capabilities and positioning the facility for continued growth. The new EcoPunch line underscores Auria’s commitment to sustainability by enabling a significant increase in the recycled fiber content of its components during production. To support the project, the Stanly County Commissioners and the Albemarle City Council have approved a property tax–based Business Development Grant equal to 75% of the new taxable investment for a term of eight years, reflecting the community’s commitment to fostering high-quality job creation and capital investment. 

This expansion highlights Albemarle’s continued momentum as a competitive location for advanced manufacturing and business growth.  Local leaders emphasized the positive economic impact of Auria’s decision, noting both the quality of new jobs and the significant capital investment that will support the county’s tax base and long-term economic vitality.

County leaders also welcomed the announcement as a sign of continued confidence in Stanly County’s workforce and business environment.
