Make Sure Your Billing ZIP Code Matches Your Card
Our utility billing company now requires a ZIP code check for all card payments made online, by phone, or by text. This helps keep your card safe and reduces fraud.
To prevent payment delays or declined payments, please check any saved payment methods. Make sure the billing ZIP code you entered matches the ZIP code your bank or card company has on file.
If you have moved or changed your ZIP code recently, please update your saved payment information as soon as you can.
You can update your billing information in four ways:

- Call Customer Service at 704-984-9615
- Email Customer Service at customerservice@albemarlenc.gov
- Visit Customer Service in person at City Hall, 144 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001
