Albemarle’s Community Night Out Set for October 3
ALBEMARLE, NC – The City of Albemarle’s Police Department will host Albemarle’s Community Night Out, a free, family-friendly event that brings together neighbors and community groups. The event will take place Saturday, October 3 from 4–7 p.m. at YMCA Park, located at 115 C. B. Crook Drive in Albemarle.
This year’s Community Night Out will feature a bounce house, face painting, music, games, and food trucks. Children ages 12 and under will be entered into a raffle to win scooters or bicycles. There will also be additional raffles for family fun prize packages.
New this year, the Albemarle Police Department will launch a trading card program to help the City’s youngest residents get to know our officers. Children who collect the cards will be eligible for prize drawings.
Local organizations will also be on hand to share valuable community resources. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet first responders and nonprofit groups that support the well-being and safety of the community.

Community Night Out is always a fun way to build relationships in a setting where everyone can have fun. It’s a chance for our community to see APD officers are people just like them,” said Ryan Manley, Albemarle Police Chief.

Albemarle’s Community Night Out is sponsored by Safe Kids Stanly County, a leading community organization focused on child safety and injury prevention. Albemarle’s Community Night Out has been an annual event for more than a decade, attracting visitors from Albemarle and throughout Stanly County.
