The City of Albemarle Department of Public Housing is accepting applications for the Public Housing Program.

-The waiting list for Public Housing applications is for one (1) bedrooms only.

-Individuals who previously applied are encouraged to re-apply. 

-Applications will ONLY be accepted with proper documentation such as Birth Certificate, ID and Social Security Cards for all of those that are applying.

The Public Housing one (1) bedroom waitlist will remain open until 5p.m. on May 22, 2026. All applications are due at that time.
