Food Truck Fridays (Monthly: April - October)

Community Night Out - October 3

On Saturday, October 3 from 4pm -7pm, The Albemarle Police Department and Safe Kids Stanly County invite you to an evening of free fun activities for everyone at YMCA Park. Community Night Out will feature music, a bounce house, games, face painting, food trucks and an opportunity to connect with members of local enforcement & emergency personnel who serve our community.

 

Downtown Trick or Treat - October 29

On Thursday, October 29 from 5pm -7pm, downtown businesses and community groups welcome trick or treaters as part of the City’s fall festival. A costume contest will be open to children ages 10 and under. Stop by Courthouse Square to sign up for the costume contest.

Trick or treat will take place at businesses along North Street and West Main from N. 1st St. to N. 3rd St.

 

An Albemarle Downtown Christmas - December 4

There's something for everyone: a tree lighting at City Hall, visits with Santa at Courthouse Square Park, live music and dance performances, downtown stores open late, and children’s activities.

Albemarle Christmas Parade - December 13

On Saturday, December 12 at 4pm, Experience the magic of the holidays as the Christmas Parade winds through the streets of downtown Albemarle. Featuring festive floats, local groups, and more, it’s an event you won’t want to miss! The parade lasts until about 5:30 p.m.
